Weeknight with Chicken Marsala!

After tasting this dish at Bravo! the other day, we HAD to try it out at home. So we did! Aadi helped but then got yelled at for dropping the lid on the cooking range. He was banished from the kitchen for about 2 mins and then was invited back and he helped some more. Diya was busy doing yin yoga to help with her neck and shoulder pain. (We really need to get her a better desk chair. This online schooling requires better equipment.)

Anyway, Suvo is wandering in Rocky Mountains so we are having our own fun! Enjoyed this yummy dinner with kids at home. What joy to cook with them. We sometimes just take this for granted. They really are growing up to be pretty accomplished chefs and have very high food standards. They are learning to make healthy choices too ....

Aadi,

I am sorry that you feel like the assignments you're being given are skills that you've already mastered. I am working to move students forward in our curriculum so that you will be ready for middle school. For a few weeks, the assignments were focused on reviewing content that we've already covered in class this year. That is no longer the case. All of the content we are now working on is new and much of it is differentiated specifically so that it will be challenging for you.

Have you worked on any of the math challenge activities that I've suggested? I would recommend completing the assignments on the learning plan each week and then working on the math challenges to move you forward even more.

Please remember it is important to come to class on time and prepared. If the assignments are not completed, we cannot easily do our work together, and yes, it is bound to be boring. I am also attaching a copy of the Zoom meeting rules. Please review them before our next meeting and come to class prepared to follow them.

Thank you and let me know if you have any other questions.

Ms. Ross

can you please give me harder work, because we already can't personally interact with friends, and i am getting extremely bored with the work you're giving me, because 90-100% of the material on the grid i have already learned.
