Diya graduated Magna Cum Laude with Presidential Award for Academic Excellence and honors in multiple subjects. We are so proud of her and at the same time humbled by how she persevered through all the difficulties that a child should never have to face.
A year ago, when she was in ICU with months of recovery ahead of her - we could not imagine this outcome. But she showed amazing resilience and determination and fought everyday and every inch of the way to get here. And now she is headed to Broad School of Management at Michigan State University- the #1 school in the country for Hospitality Management to pursue a career she decided when she was 3 yrs of age - to be a Chef and run restaurants!
This child amazes me, this child inspires me. ❤️
